We're based in Kentucky, living in a 1950s house with good bones, loads of potential, and a serious need for personality. I have no formal design training — just a lifelong love of all things home and creative.
True story: I bought this website domain three years ago (long before I had a house to design.) I reserved it hoping future me would work up the courage to do something with it. The name might sound fancy, but I promise this is just me — figuring it out room by room, project by project.
This blog is where I document the journey of turning our house into a home: the plans, the projects, and everything in between. I believe in designing slowly and intentionally, letting a space evolve around the people who actually live there.
Along the way, I'll be sharing what inspires me — designers I love, design principles worth holding onto, and the crafting projects keeping me busy.
