Hi, I'm Molly.

Interior design enthusiast, first-time homeowner, and self-appointed creative director of our home. My husband is equal parts handyman and hype man — and I couldn't do this without him.

We're based in Kentucky, and our 1950s house has a lot of potential and is in desperate need of character. I have no formal design training — just a lifelong love of all things home and creative. They didn't call me Hobby Molly in high school for nothing.

True story: I bought this website domain 3 years ago, hoping I'd eventually do something with it. Turns out all I needed was a house, a vision, and the realization that there's no time like the present.

This blog is where I document the journey of making our house a home — the plans, the projects, and the results. I believe in designing slowly and intentionally, letting a space evolve to serve the unique people who actually live there. Alongside our own home journey, I'll be sharing what inspires me in the design world: designers I love, trends worth knowing about, and crafting projects I'm working on.
